Description

Happy April! As a powerful end to Women's History Month, and as a reminder that women are crushing it EVERY month, we are celebrating some women who inspire us in this episode.

We also indulge in a lil prosecco because why the hell not?! This is a celebration! Pause, grab a glass, and join us! Bet you never heard that in health class.

We dive deeper into cognitive changes throughout the ovulatory cycle: Are you "smarter" in different phases? Are our fluctuating hormones a cognitive weakness or strength? (Hint: Our hormones are never a weakness, despite the popular narrative.)

While we could have a year-long class about women changing the world, we chose a few to admire today from history, in the current discourse, and from our own lives.

Lexie shares her own story with SA following the conversation about Marty Goddard, true inventor of the *grape* kit. Conversation about Goddard begins at 22:21. Lexie begins her story at 29:05. If any of this is triggering for you, rejoin us at 44:40 (:

We also discuss women in STEM, the way we raise girls & boys, "where's my hug" guys, and more good news from March! Enjoy (:
