Another episode in my never-ending pursuit to bring all music to the masses! Or something like that. You can just tell how much fun it was to talk to Aubrey. Before our interview, I had commented to her that she sent me down a rabbit hole, because I'd never known of many female jazz trombonists. Well, let me tell you Rebels, there are plenty, and, as Aubrey explained, "And, we all know each other!" You gotta love speaking to anyone who can give you an answer like that. I think she's the first guest I've interviewed to have the last laugh on Simon Cowell. That is, unless you don't count the guy who was on bedpan duty when he was in the hospital.
