As the new year began, one word kept surfacing for me: alignment.
After circling around the ideas of being centered, enlightened, and living more simply, I realized I didn’t want multiple intentions competing for my attention. Alignment became less of a goal and more of a question I’m learning to ask in real time: can I live with this decision once the excitement wears off?
In this episode, I talk through what practicing alignment actually looked like for me this week — including a last-minute invitation I was genuinely excited about, the disappointment that followed saying no, and how choosing what “fits” doesn’t always feel peaceful in the moment.
I also reflect on how watching the RHOSLC finale and the Mary Cosby documentary mirrored this tension between impulse and intention, escalation and pause — and why my tolerance for chaos has shifted, both on screen and in real life.
This isn’t a lesson or a manifesto. It’s a conversation about listening to your nervous system, noticing what steadies you, and letting alignment become a quiet but reliable compass.
