In the fifth episode of British Murders Season 4, I tell the story of Ben Blakeley and Jayden Parkison.
A serial domestic abuser, Ben regularly beat up and strangled every girlfriend he had in his life.
Sadly, 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson’s experience with Ben was no different.
Despite leaving her abuser in November 2013, Jayden discovered she was pregnant with Ben’s child.
As they discussed the pregnancy the following month, Ben strangled and killed Jayden before burying her body in his uncle’s grave.
He was handed a life sentence in July 2014 with a minimum term to serve of 20 years.
