Violet Hunter, an intelligent and spirited young woman, seeks Holmes's advice before accepting a lucrative position at a country estate known as the Copper Beeches. Her new employers, the Rucastles, impose bizarre requirements—cutting her hair, wearing specific clothes, and sitting by a window each evening. What begins as an odd request soon unravels into a chilling mystery involving imprisonment, deceit, and a desperate struggle for freedom. With Holmes and Watson on the case, the secrets hidden within Copper Beeches are brought to light.

This suspenseful finale to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes reminds us that evil often hides behind polite smiles—and courage can come from the most unexpected places.
