A man locks himself away in an escape-proof prison—but his mind is free, and a wager is made 🗝️🚪
“To escape a cell is not to fight walls, but to outthink them.” — The Thinking Machine
The Problem of Cell 13, Part 1
Professor Augustus S.F.X. Van Dusen, known as "The Thinking Machine," believes no man-made system can hold him. To prove it, he voluntarily enters Chisholm Prison’s most secure cell under a simple wager: he will escape in one week. Locked behind thick stone walls, watched constantly, and denied tools or allies, Van Dusen begins a battle not of strength, but of logic.
In this first part of a legendary case, listeners witness the quiet power of intellect against what seems an impossible task.
