Episode 7. In this magical episode of The Magpie Circle we are joined by Ex Notts striker & former New Zealand national manager, Mick Waitt.
We chat with Waitt who's career is some what of a footballing miracle from playing amateur football in The Notts Alliance & taking voluntary redundancy at the age of 24 to signing for Notts County in the second division scoring 32 times in 88 appearances between 1984-87.
Waitt emigrated to New Zealand in 1992 where incredibly in 2002 he would become the New Zealand National team manager guiding them to a rare victory over Australia & to The 2003 Confederations cup in France. Living prove that miracles do happen in football!
