Good news, Niners fans! Initial fears of a serious knee injury for rookie right guard Dominick Puni have subsided, with a possible return to practice as early as next week. Coach Shanahan's optimistic update is a huge boost for San Francisco's offensive line, especially with Ben Bartch also returning from an elbow injury. If Puni can't go for the September 7th opener against Seattle, seventh-round pick Connor Colby is next in line.
