Today, were celebrating baseball legends and controversial team moves. Tom Seaver, aka Tom Terrific, was born in 1944, becoming a Hall of Fame pitcher with a remarkable late-career run with the Chicago White Sox. Meanwhile, the St. Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles in 1953, but owner Bill Veeck was left out due to league politics. Veeck would later purchase the White Sox in 1959. We also recalled the 1992 expansion draft, where the Colorado Rockies and Florida Marlins were stocked, with the White Sox losing pitchers Greg Hibbard and Robert Person.
