Description

The Carolina Hurricanes suffered a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild, ending their chance to sweep the season series. Despite dominating the second period, the Hurricanes couldnt overcome early deficits and a strong performance by the Wilds goalie, Jesper Wallstedt. The loss keeps the Hurricanes in first place in the Metropolitan Division as they prepare for their next game against the Winnipeg Jets.
