Giovanna Mantilla, a City Heights business owner, is making a difference in her community by baking and giving away free loaves of sourdough bread. Initially inspired by a government shutdown that reduced food assistance, she turned to her passion for baking to help those struggling with food insecurity. Since November 1st, she has provided nearly thirty loaves to single mothers, who express gratitude for the fresh bread they couldnt usually afford for their children. Giovanna plans to continue her mission, understanding that even one loaf can make a significant impact.
