Tavita Pritchard, a Stanford football alumnus and former quarterback, has been appointed as the Cardinals new head coach. Known for leading Stanford to a historic upset against USC in 2007, Pritchard will take over from interim coach Frank Reich. Currently serving as the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Commanders, Pritchard will officially begin his new role after their game this Sunday. Stanfords general manager, Andrew Luck, and Pritchards former teammate, praised his ability to build and motivate teams, recruit talent, and connect with players. Pritchard expressed his excitement to return home and build a championship program.
