Sami Valimaki secured a historic victory at the RSM Classic, becoming Finlands first PGA Tour winner. His composure shone through as he used his putter from off the green and sank an eighteen-foot putt. Meanwhile, the battle for PGA Tour cards was intense, with the top one hundred players securing full tour cards. Ricky Castillos impressive front nine was overshadowed by Max McGreevys late birdie putt, pushing Castillo out of the top one hundred. Valimakis victory granted him a two-year exemption and a spot in the first two twenty-million-dollar signature events of 2026. McGreevys strong finish also secured him a spot in those events, bumping Jordan Spieth out of a guaranteed spot.
