Gregg Favre, a seasoned public safety and emergency management professional, has been appointed as the new commissioner for St. Louiss City Emergency Management Agency (CEMA). Favres extensive background includes roles as Deputy Director for the Missouri Department of Public Safety, captain with the St. Louis Fire Department, U.S. Navy officer, and enterprise risk strategist. His appointment comes after the citys former CEMA commissioner was fired following an investigation into failed tornado sirens during a devastating storm in May. Favres first day as commissioner is December twenty-second.
