Five individuals, including two elderly patients and three others, were hospitalized following a collision involving a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance in Arleta. The ambulance, transporting two patients, collided with a sport utility vehicle at Woodman Avenue and Chase Street. The driver of the SUV was critically injured, while the ambulance driver and passenger were in fair condition. The LAPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
