The judge ruled there wasnt enough evidence to prove Jordan Junior had a motive to commit the crime. Jordan Junior was accused of shooting Jam Master Jay inside a Queens recording studio in 2002. His lawyers argued that prosecutors lacked sufficient evidence to support their claim that he killed Jam Master Jay as an act of revenge for a failed drug deal. While Jordan Junior has been acquitted of the murder charges, he remains in custody awaiting trial on unrelated drug charges.
