Description

After a year of struggle, a family in Napoleon, Ohio, finally gains an accessible bathroom for their daughter, thanks to a new contractor. Lisa Boylan and her husband paid a previous contractor, Joseph Schlosser, over $3500 for a bathroom remodel, but he never finished the job. Schlosser was later sentenced for defrauding several families in northwest Ohio. The Boylans turned to Gearig Floors in Wauseon, who completed the project, making it accessible for Molly. The new bathroom cost around $10,000, but a GoFundMe campaign helped them recover most of the lost money. Lisa Boylan urges others to thoroughly vet contractors.
