COPE Galways annual report showcases a year of significant demand and complex challenges, yet also remarkable support for the community. The charity assisted over three thousand individuals, including one thousand older individuals through community activities and social supports. Their Meals for Health program delivered nearly ninety-nine thousand meals. They also provided crucial assistance to women and children experiencing domestic abuse and supported one thousand three hundred thirty-seven people facing homelessness. The report highlights strengthened preventative services for children and young people, with their Solas Óg program providing over six hundred one-on-one sessions. COPE Galways work extended to combating isolation and trauma through various small but impactful initiatives, all made possible by a dedicated team of two hundred fifty-three volunteers.
