Description

Coa Cantina, a new Mexican restaurant, is set to open in Barber Valley, bringing a fresh dining option to the area. This venture is a collaboration of local restaurant owners, including Dylan Cordry of Sushi Shack, Kasey Allen and Daniel Sell from The STIL, and Nikolai Castoro, President of Torro Restaurant Group. The new spot will be located at thirty-seven twenty-four South Eckert Road, taking over the space previously occupied by Lemon Tree Company. The concept for Coa Cantina grew out of the success of late-night street tacos offered at Coa de Jima, another Torro Restaurant Group establishment. The new restaurant aims to be both kid-friendly and adult-friendly, offering a vibrant atmosphere with a blend of traditional and modern Mexican design elements. The menu will feature six to eight protein options like carne asada, carnitas, and a vegetarian choice, and will expand to include a unique fusion menu with Sushi Shack in the spring. Coa Cantina is expected to open around January first and will operate on a walk-in basis with no reservations, providing sit-down service for approximately fifty to sixty people.
