Michael Ray Richardson, a four-time NBA All-Star, passed away on November eleventh at the age of seventy. Diagnosed with prostate cancer, he was known for his exceptional defense and three-point shooting during his eight-year NBA career with the Knicks, Warriors, and Nets. Richardson was drafted fourth overall in 1978 and earned All-Star honors three consecutive seasons with the Knicks. He was also named the 1985 NBA Comeback Player of the Year but was banned for life in 1986 due to drug policy violations. Reinstated in 1988, he continued his career overseas and later transitioned into coaching.
