Thomas Manson, a 30-year-old man from Crediton, Devon, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for raping a teenage girl in Bristol in 2022. Despite his denial, he was convicted by a jury and received his sentence on October 31st. The victim, who has lifetime anonymity, shared the devastating impact on her life, including dropped A-level grades and missed career opportunities. Detective Sergeant Kate Hughes of Operation Bluestone praised the victims bravery and hopes the sentence sends a clear message to perpetrators and victims.
