Three prisoners face murder charges after a child killer, Kyle Bevan, was found dead in his cell at HMP Wakefield. Bevan was serving a life sentence for murdering two-year-old Lola James in 2020. The three defendants, Mark Fellows, Lee Newell, and David Taylor, appeared in court via video link and were remanded into custody. Each defendant only spoke to confirm their names and dates of birth, with Taylor stating, Absolutely not. Im innocent. The incident follows another death at the same prison less than a month prior, when paedophile singer Ian Watkins was fatally stabbed.
