On November sixth, the Laude Institute launched its Slingshots grants, an initiative to boost AI research. This program provides resources like funding, computing power, and engineering support to scientists, in exchange for tangible outcomes. The first cohort of fifteen projects includes established names like Terminal Bench and ARC-AGI, as well as new initiatives like Formula Code and BizBench, which focus on AI evaluation and optimization. John Boda Yang, co-founder of SWE-Bench, is also part of this group with his new project, CodeClash.
