Georgia Techs mens basketball team secured their fifth win of the season, defeating West Georgia eighty-two to sixty-six in a home game at McCamish Pavilion. The Yellow Jackets showcased strong post play and effective defense, out-rebounding West Georgia forty-eight to twenty-eight and outscoring them in the paint fifty-two to twenty. Junior forward Baye Ndongo had an outstanding performance with fourteen points, fourteen rebounds, and five assists. Four different Yellow Jackets scored in double figures, with senior guard Kowacie Reeves Junior leading the team with eighteen points. Looking ahead, Georgia Tech will travel to participate in the Emerald Coast Classic over Thanksgiving weekend, facing DePaul on November twenty-eighth.
