SORRY, BABY
Sorry, Baby (2025), written and directed by Eva Victor, follows Agnes (Victor), a sharp but emotionally wounded English professor in rural New England whose life is upended when her estranged friend Lydie (Naomi Ackie) returns with unexpected news. As past wounds resurface, Agnes struggles to reconcile her grief with the possibility of new connections, leaning on her awkward neighbor Gavin (Lucas Hedges) while confronting the influence of her former advisor Preston Decker (Louis Cancelmi).
The ensemble also features Kelly McCormack and John Carroll Lynch, blending dark humor with emotional honesty in a story of friendship, trauma, and the fragile hope of moving forward.
