In her art lay a heart full of hope mixed with hopelessness, and love and also the pain of being unloved. Frida is an enigma, a paradox, a totality of womanhood. She taught us self love in most of her art, she remained her own muse forever.
This is my letter to Diego Rivera, through the heart and pen of Frida Kahlo, that I had originally written on her birthday earlier this month.
