Dawn DiStefano currently works at Square One as the organization’s President & CEO. Square One provides family support services and early education and care to communities in the greater Springfield and Holyoke area of the Pioneer Valley. With an annual budget of $9 million, the agency focuses on serving at risk, low-income children and families with early education, home visiting, parenting education and support groups. Prior to joining Square One, Dawn spent 25 years working at the YWCA of Western Massachusetts where she focused on fundraising and development specifically for programs serving victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as young parents. Dawn has an undergraduate degree in elementary education and a masters degree in public administration and nonprofit management from Westfield State University. She serves on the boards of Dress for Success Western Massachusetts, Springfield Regional Chamber, Baystate Community Benefits Advisory Committee.
