The group finds themselves with several members of The Shuffle Guild: Qho, an Aarakocra; Gojun, a Triton; Kivela, a Shifter; Inia, a Yuan-ti, and Strohm, a Changeling. They exchange information and familiarize themselves with each other. Information is exchanged about Shank’s current bounty, the other odd happenings on Granzia, and catching up the Guild members on what happened on Zechs’ first job. They agree to take the night to rest and revel. Just as Strohm pours out drinks for everyone, Inia and Gojun bring Zechs upstairs for a debrief, as is standard protocol. He describes the last few weeks of his life as best as he can, letting them know just what they’re up against.
