Description

Leon McLeod is QGM decorated Police Officer and Ambassador for PTSD99. He was a first responder in the terrorist attacks on London Bridge. Leon doesn't really like the hero label, but clearly he is and since then he has become a leading spokesperson in the field of mental health. Specifically PTSD, which he has suffered with since the terrible attack on London Bridge. I was honoured to hear his story about this, but also his life since, the crushing lows, therapy, fatherhood, running the marathon and how he has learnt to cope with his condition. This episode was an absolute pleasure to do as Leon is such a kind and thoughtful man. His honesty is breathtaking.
