Description

This week Justin Onuekwusi, head of retail investments at Legal & General Investment Management, has a chat with Asset Allocator writers David Thorpe and Dave Baxter about why he's so concerned about concentration risk - in particular the growing influence of a handful of stocks within US equity indices and the growing influence of US equity indices themselves within global markets.

They also discuss the use of passives in more niche markets, whether he's expecting more volatility over the next few years and whether he thinks we are entering a period when asset allocators are going to have to be more nimble with their market positions, rather than taking a longer-term view of their allocations.

The Asset Allocator Podcast is a fortnightly series aimed at discretionary fund managers, fund selectors and wealth managers, providing insight into the issues that drive investment decisions.
