Today Late Lunch came from Louth County Council's beautiful new Civic Offices on Fair Street in Drogheda, site of the former St Vincent's school, where Presenter Gerry Kelly began his education at five years of age many moons ago! We were joined by Louth County Council Chief Executive David Conway who reflected on his early months in the job and some of the main areas of focus for the future. New County Librarian Amanda Branigan was buzzing about her new responsibilities. While Drogheda's Night Time Economy manager Mark Davies set out his vision and Gary Byrne Customer Services Manager told us why he's so proud of his team's new place of work. We also heard from former Drogheda Independent Editor Paul Murphy and Joe Collins a man born and reared on Fair Street. While leading Hair Stylist David Murray, who operates from Number 21, popped in for a most insightful chat about his wonderful business.
