Cathy Keenan's daughter Kate died in a Road Traffic Accident on January 22nd 2024. Cathy recalls the knock on the door no one expects or ever wants when the Garda arrive to break the terrible news. How events unfold, not wanting to believe her child will never come home, the support she received, upset in the graveyard, feeling all alone in the days and weeks subsequently, trying to cope, carry on and still expecting Kate to walk through the door one day.
