Lara Prescott's debut novel was an instant New York Times best seller. Lara's mom thinks it's fate that she wrote The Secrets We Kept, a work of historical fiction based on the true story behind Boris Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago, because Lara was named after the heroine in that book!
