We're delighted to have the multi-talented, Brissie-local Sarah Morrison join us in the studio to chat all about her experiences in musical theatre - from studying to auditioning and landing her first big role, to starring in professionally touring productions. She dishes all the behind-the-scenes goss while telling us about many incredible moments in her career as a performer. We are here for this interview!
Scene 13 unravels Sarah's experiences performing in 'Come From Away' - including the research process behind the show, meeting the real people her characters are based on, and the learned importance of community. We also follow Sarah's career, learning how she started in Brisbane studying opera and then musical theatre, as well as auditioning fresh out of university. We hear about her time on set 'Ladies in Black' as its leading lady, Lisa, and her time in the Australian production of 'Mamma Mia' as Sophie Sheridan. We even play a little game and learn about some potential roles Sarah might come from away to perform!
