Ahoy me, roomies! This week on the Play Haus we have the dynamic producing duo, Lucas D. Lynch and Samantha Paterson, who've ventured in to share all their theatre treasures. From performing as musicians to establishing their own independent theatre company, Lynch & Paterson, we learn about their return season of 'The Pirates of Penzance', as well as some great audition hints and tips for their many shows heading our way. Scene 14 unravels the beginnings of Lynch & Paterson as a producing company, as Lucas and Samantha give us insider knowledge of what happens in front and behind the scenes. We learn about Lynch & Paterson's dreams to expand the company into all aspects of theatre, whilst maintaining their trademark of high-quality productions. We also deep dive into their 2021 season regarding the new changes to their return season of 'The Pirates of Penzance', as well as auditions for 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and 'Les Miserables'. Additionally, Lucas chats about the creative process behind, 'Love Struck', and Samantha excites us about L&P's Tribute Series (where she'll take on the iconic role of Adele). We also navigate the COVID lifestyles and how that impacted the group, and Lucas and Samantha were kind enough to give us some audition tips and tricks if they were producing or performing.
