Description

In this week's episode, we find out what it takes to be a 90s icon! Well, almost. The wonderful Teagan Wouters joins us in the studio and talks us through her experience performing iconic movie roles on the stage. From Nicola in ‘Kinky Boots’, Lisa Houseman in ‘Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage’ and now the leading lady, Julia Sullivan in the 90s cult classic, ‘The Wedding Singer’, Teagan brings her sparkle to every role she touches and into our Play Haus!

Scene 23 unravels Teagan’s world during COVID, especially the most recent Melbourne lockdown. We chat through the rehearsal process of ‘The Wedding Singer’ with "play, fun and creativity" marking Teagan's top three must-haves to bring into the rehearsal room. Teagan also shares how vital it is to maintain passion and excitement in every step of your artistic journey. Chelsea and Brooke find out some of the most important lessons Teagan learned during her studies and her plans as she moves forward in her career. And if that's not enough, we finish this episode with a fun 90s fashion-themed and trends game! Do you think double denim should make a comeback?
