Description

We've wished for an adventure this week and it came our way with superstar guest and international performer, Madeleine Ratcliffe. Currently taking up residency on a performing contract in Universal Studios Japan, we chat to Maddy about her magical role and time overseas!

Scene 9 unravels Universal Studios Japan and the audition process becoming one of their cast members. We discuss the differences between performing overseas (between Australia and Japan), the culture, differences between audience members and fan clubs, and dealing with performing during the coronavirus pandemic. Madeleine also discusses her other roles as Cinderella in 'Cinderella', a Belle understudy in 'Beauty of the Beast', and her cabaret self-devised and produced cabaret shows. She also gives plenty of advice to young actors and emerging artists regarding training, their craft and staying passionate.
