Jahan Kalantar is such a nice guy.
His family fled Iran while he was in the womb and set up life in Australia back in the mid 80's. From here he grew up with a unique upbringing in Sydney as an immigrant. From here Jahan was a smart student and went into finance after school and university.
He decided it wasn't the right path for him so after some wise words from his grandfather, he changed careers and went into law. Jahan describes himself as a ‘little guy lawyer’. He attributes his human rights leanings to his proud Persian heritage, a dislike of bullies and a genuine belief that one person can make a difference.
Leaving a successful career in finance in order to pursue law, he was admitted to the NSW Bar Association at the age of 25. Subsequently, he established and became a partner at the firm of Executive Legal where he heads up the serious crime and mental health practice.
He also is a huge Tik Tok star!
