In a similar plot to Big, Jenna is a 13 year-old who wishes to be 30, and wakes up the next day as an adult. But this one is slightly different because she actually wakes up 17 years in the future in her future apartment and future job and future life.
Our team discusses how this film still works, and what it gets right, and why we need more romantic leads for Mark Ruffalo. 13 Going on 30 captures a lot of the same magic we see in Big, and brings some of its own. And after 16 years, it still holds up pretty well.
