SYNOPSIS:

David is still in prison, and It’s not only his friends who are wondering where he is; it’s also network executives. They begin auditioning to find a replacement. We see the auditions. Men in line all dressed up in outfits that David wore in previous episodes. David is placed in a chain-gang.

Bert is using his new, temporary title awarded to him by David, to put the employees in line.

David witnesses illegal activities by a prison guard, who is about to kill him, but fortunately, a riot starts, allowing David to escape unnoticed.

Agnes and Bert decide to start investigating the whereabouts of “Mr. Addison.” The episode features a lengthy musical number performed by the prisoners in the style of "When I Was a Lad" from Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore.
