Description

The spotlight effect is a psychological phenomenon where we overestimate how much people are paying attention to us or judging our perceived shortcomings. Basically, it’s the reason we think everyone is obsessed with us, when they usually aren’t. Worse, it’s also preventing a lot of people from getting started on their piloting journeys.

This week, we chat about:

- why you’re probably not the main character in everyone else’s story

- the problem with letting your ego hold you back (go be cringe!)

- whether the spotlight effect gets better or worse with age

- & so much more!
