At the beginning of lockdown when it dawned on us that Taye Training would no longer be able to hold in-person training for the foreseeable future we were devastated. You see, we recognised there was an urgent need for training to continue but we weren’t willing to compromise on quality.
I often vent about the damage e-learning has done to the sector and didn’t think training could be done online in an effective way.
However, 4 months and hundreds of live online training sessions later, I am biting back my words and admitting that although static e-learning may not be the solution, there is room for live-online training both during the COVID19 pandemic and in the future.
In this podcast I speak to Beckie Breakwell, not only is she a Training 4 Influence accredited facilitator, she has become the online training lead for Taye Training. Over the past few months she has taught me, our most recent Training 4 Influence cohort, and her fellow Taye Training facilitators, how to use the tech we needed to enable us to deliver online training that still meets the Training 4 Influence standards.
