Description

Perceiving is usually seen as a passive act when it is actually a creative one. We perceive people and situations in multiple ways, and we choose what we believe is more accurate.

Once we decide which is the more precise way of perceiving, we proceed without realizing that our choice affects the outcome. We can help someone we lead or serve to change their perception in a way that will open new possibilities for their future and expand the horizon of what's possible for them and people they interact with.

Keith Weedman is my guest today, and in this episode, we will talk about how he helped a good friend change his perception in a work situation. He will also share the first useful assumption he invented.

While Keith was working in a Social Service Agency then, his story with Mike illustrates the significant impact we can all make with people we lead and serve.

We will talk about leadership and how to apply Constructivism Epistemology as a leadership skill into our work and our lives. Finally, Keith will give you a call to action to implement with people you lead, serve, and love while building your skill giving positive feedback to elevate performance.

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

Constructivism Epistemology explained in depth (2:57)

The Useful Assumption that Keith invented (6:55)
