Description

Whitney Combs is a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach specializing in addiction and recovery. She lives in Tampa, FL with her husband, three children, two cats and a very sweet yellow labrador. Whitney started her professional career as a Physician Assistant in 2004. In early 2017, Whitney got sober and made a decision to move away from the clinical realm and into the coaching world so that she would have the ability to work more holistically with the people she serves. She earned a coaching certification from the National Society of Health Coaches in 2017, an additional certification from Wellcoaches in 2021 and her NBHWC (National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching) board certification for coaching in 2022.

Whitney started her coaching career at Tempest where she developed and implemented a coaching program for people struggling with Alcohol Use Disorder. Whitney then transitioned to building her own coaching business and now works full time as a recovery coach helping women focus on building lives they don't need to escape from.

Whitney is a big believer that everyone has within themselves the capacity for change. She believes that every one of us knows what we need to do in order to heal and live our best possible lives. She sees her work as walking beside her clients, asking provocative questions and offering encouragement and accountability so that they can uncover their own personal path toward health and wellness.

In her spare time you can find Whitney reading (mostly personal development books), journaling, meditating, boating, throwing tarot cards, playing board games with her family and eating all the chocolate.
