How can eternal beings, confined to finite bodies and a finite place in time, glimpse the glory we were created to know? Could it be that each time we say "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven" we invite the eternal reality of Heaven to invade the confines and limitations of our current circumstances? The challenges and losses we face on "this side" are all too real. But so is the reality of His eternal Kingdom. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us" (Romans 8:18).
