In the 1930s, radiologist Carl Tanzler left his family for a young woman. A woman who he believed was a vision he had been seeing since childhood. Sadly, at 21 years old, Maria Elena Milagro de Hoyos was dying from tuberculosis.
After death, what Tanzler done to her body is something out of a horror movie. What is even more disturbing is how long this went on without anyone noticing.
