Description

In this episode Steph takes y'all back to Macon County, Alabama 1932. Where 600 African American men were enlisted to partake in a scientific study on syphilis. This "study" was conducted by the United States Public Health Service and involved blood test, spinal taps, and autopsies of the patients when they were deceased.

Once thought to be a conspiracy theory, this is how the government promised to help those who had syphilis and instead, lied to them. Buckle up Troublemakers...this episode is about to blow your mind.
