Today's episode is in response to a question that seems to keep coming up. But it's one of those questions that's asked from a place of judgment rather than of actually wanting an honest answer. And the problem with this question is that it leads people to second guess their dreams. It leads people to second guess their goals. It leads people to question their purpose and even judge themselves.
The question is: Why do you think you need more? Why can't you just be happy with what you have?
This question perpetuates the idea that someone who wants more is selfish or unappreciative of the life they currently have.
But it's completely ok to be grateful and appreciative for what you have while also wanting more. Wanting more does not invalidate the gratitude or appreciation that you can simultaneously have for the life you are currently living.
This question is rooted in the mindset that money is evil. But money provides so much good and so much value to the world. And in this episode I talk about how money can provide freedom - time freedom, location freedom, job/career freedom; how money can allow you to create a legacy and provide generational wealth for your family; how money can provide you with peace and can actually have an effect on your health; and how money can allow you to bless and be of service to others in ways you wouldn't be able to do otherwise.
And if you'd like a little bit of guidance in how to stop playing small, and how to start setting and actually reaching your goals so you can live the dream live you've envisioned, don't miss out on the opportunity to get a FREE copy of the printable version of my new journal - The 30-Day Purpose Journal, all you have to do is leave a written review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, screenshot your review, send it to my DMs (linked below!) with your email address, and I'll email you copy FOR FREE!
