If you’ve been listening to this podcast for any amount of time, you know how much I talk about the process. How important the process is when it comes to working toward reaching your goals. How important it is to be present in the process, to GROW though the process. To FEEL the things you need to feel IN the process.
But for whatever reason, this is one of those things I still find myself getting caught up avoiding. Maybe you do too.
Because I don’t like moving slow. I don’t like having to WAIT for the transformation to happen. And because of that, I've always had a habit of trying to RUSH the process to get to the other side. Even though I know how important the process really is.
But in trying to rush through the process, we end up bypassing some of the feelings we need to feel along the way. So sometimes we need to backtrack, take smaller steps, and let it be ok that the journey isn't a race - it's a journey. And to get the most out of the journey, we need to allow ourselves to feel whatever comes up along the way.
