In today's continuation of our Relationship Series, I talk about the complexities of betrayal within relationships and how to navigate a relationship that has experienced a significant betrayal.
I lay out the important steps you need to go through in order to navigate a situation of betrayal within a relationship. You need to allow yourself to feel your feelings. You need to allow yourself the time to process those feelings long enough and not push them down or try to bypass them. Because if you don't allow the feelings to move through you, they will embed themselves into your subconscious and end up controlling you and how you show up in all of your relationships.
Once you allow yourself to feel your feelings, you can then look at the situation from a more objective place. This will help you to then decide if you want to keep that relationship in your life or if that person should no longer be a part of your inner circle.
Finally, I share some questions that you should intentionally ask yourself that can help you decide whether or not you should give that relationship another chance, and if you do decide to keep that person in your life, questions you should be willing to ask each other.
